David Knapp grew up in Georgia and East Tennessee and moved to Alabama in 2010 after his first year of college. He comes from a background of 7 years dealing with real estate transactions from the termite and pest control field as well as 6 years in the investment property business and brings a diverse set of skills to bear when working with his real estate clients. David Knapp attended East Tennessee State University, Auburn University and Columbus State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art, summa cum laude. He always says that studying art gave him expertise in problem solving and critical thinking. His skills in art also give him a unique insight into the visual aspects of real estate. David Knapp entered the Real Estate world to fulfill a dream he has had for many years and to be able to serve people in one of the most important moments of their lives. David Knapp is married and lives in Opelika, AL with wife, Taylor, and their four children—Josiah, Olivia, Cassia and Jonathan. He spends his free time with his family and church family and loves out-door adventures and getaways, as well as creating art in his studio and with his kids.
