Jenn Gomer started her career as a critical care nurse in 2010. She transitioned to a hospital case manager and was upset by how older clients were often discharged home, not thoroughly prepared to be alone, only to return shortly after. She observed how older clients are sometimes barely surviving and/or not happy at home and needing more support than the traditional medical system offers. Jenn has been working with CarePatrol since 2014. CarePatrol offers a free service that connects older clients with support in the home or helps clients find a senior living community that fits their specific needs and preferences. She is one of the original members of the National Placement and Referral Alliance trying to ensure older clients are working with professionals that follow the Best Practices. Jenn lives in Golden and can be found running on trails, camping, or on a soccer field sideline cheering on her kids. CarePatrol was founded in 1993 by a social worker in Arizona and has grown to be nationwide. We support clients and their families by connecting them to appropriate resources like care managers, elder law attorneys, estate sale specialists, live-in caregivers, and more in Colorado and throughout most of the country.
